Noah Koh is a cellist and chamber musician born and raised in Queens, New York City.

As a freelance musician, Noah performs with local orchestras and chamber groups for private events. During his sophomore year, he was invited to participate in Juilliard’s Honors Chamber Program with the Nova String Quartet where he had the privilege to study with Joseph Lin, Laurie Smuckler, and Roger Tapping. The Nova String quartet had a very active 2015-16 season, as they played many concerts, and were invited to play in masterclasses with David Finckel, Sean Lee, Robert Levin, and members of the Michelangelo Quartet.

An avid chamber musician, Noah has been heard at many distinguished summer festivals, such as the Aspen Music Festival, Bowdoin International Music Festival, the C.W. Post Chamber Music Festival, Festival Del Lago, Kneisel Hall, Luzerne Music Festival, Meadowmount School of Music, Music Academy of the West, and the Yellow Barn Young Artists Program. He also performed in various concerts throughout the Appalachian area of New York, whether it would be The Caroga Lake Arts Collective, or the Roxbury Arts Group.

Noah loves to share music with all sorts of audiences, with the pursuit to bring them through the progression of masterpieces from the first note to the silence at the end. Outside of music, he enjoys a life full of delicious food, yoga, and soccer with fellow musicians in the area.
